“Intricately Made”

My porch and outside view

Have you ever been outside on the perfect morning? Where you could feel the breeze on your skin, tousling your hair? Close your eyes/Imagine for a moment a place of solace with nothing pressing to do, peaceful, rolling hills with lush, green grass. The fresh smell of the air as you slowly breathe in and out. The sound of birds chirping happily. A babbling brook playing to a rhythm all its own. It is almost picturesque isn’t it?

The Lord holds the all time title for the most beautiful pieces of art work. (At least in my book). I stand in awe of his power to create and change things as he seees fit. Just think about it: how powerful our God is! To be able to just speak all of the earth, animal, and people into being.

How many of we humans would it take to make an earth, animals, and people like He did? Right, it would not be possible even with a large group of us. We are not capable. OUR GOD IS TRULY AMAZING!

Just think for a moment that God made everything, from the smallest bumble bee to the oceans, to the greatest sized trees on our planet. He made it all. He knows each and every little creature and promises that he will take care of them. In the Bible it reminds us that God takes care of the everything that is his creation. Guess what! Jesus even made us. Our bodies, so intricately made by him. He made us to worship Him.

Have you ever planted a garden, and watched it grow? Were you proud of your masterpiece? The Father In Heaven – in the same way is proud of his masterpiece. He loves us because He wanted us to be a part of his creation.

Close your eyes again/ Image for a moment. Feel your attention move from your head, ,slowly down to your chest, then on down to your legs, then to your feet. God made an absolutely amazing piece of artwork didn’t he? God is pleased with His creation. That is you. He is pleased with you. He desires that you choose to follow Him. He desires that every person on the planet chooses to follow Him!

The Bible calls us to worship Him in the first Chapter: Genesis 1.

We were made to worship Him, and to desire to become more like Him.

That is my new desire – to try and do what He would have me do. To allow the Holy Spirit to show me how to be more like the Lord in my entire being.

Will you join me?
